Remembering Jack
A Reunion of Friends & Family
Please Join Us
Please join us on Saturday, October 24, between 3:00 and 6:00 PM for a reunion of Jack's friends and family.
There will be no formal ceremony or speeches. Instead, we hope you'll come spend some time together, reconnect with family and friends, and share your favorite stories and memories of Jack.
Please feel free to arrive whenever you'd like and stay for as much or as little of the afternoon as you wish. Formal attire is not expected. Please wear whatever you feel is comfortable and respectful for the occasion.
We hope to have a photo slideshow on display during the reunion. If you have any pictures of Jack that you'd like to share, please email them to bryanperetto@gmail.com by Oct 22nd.
When & Where
Saturday, October 24, 2026
3:00–6:00 PM
Hilliard Mills
Steam Boiler Room (2nd floor)
642 Hilliard St
Manchester, CT 06042
Parking is available all around the building, but we recommend the west side of the building (the right side when facing the building from the street). There is a ramp to the door. From there, turn right down a hallway into an open area, where you will find an elevator to the second floor. The room is across from the elevator and stairs. The bathrooms are also in this area. An ADA-compliant bathroom is down the hall.
Food & Drink
We'll have a selection of light savory and sweet snacks along with non-alcoholic drinks. There will also be a hot tea station in memory of Jack and his favorite drink.
There is no need to bring anything. Just bring yourself and your memories of Jack.
For additional food, there is a cafe called "The Hidden Kitchen" on the first floor, which should be open until 4:00 PM. There are also snack and beverage vending machines next to the cafe. For alcoholic drinks, you can visit 2nd Bridge Brewing Co. at the other end of the first floor (this will require exiting the building).
A Note About Blaze
Blaze will be joining us for the reunion since he was a big part of Jack's life. He won't be roaming free, but we know not everyone is comfortable around dogs, so we wanted to make sure everyone is aware ahead of time.
Remembering Jack
Most of all, this afternoon is simply a chance for the people who knew Jack to be together, remember him, and enjoy the stories and memories that connect us.
Thank You
You can imagine how shocked and devastated we all are. Thanks to those who have offered assistance during this time and in the future. We especially thank our family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues for their support, as well as Hilliard Events for the space, Tierney Funeral Home for their compassion, and even various government clerks for their help and kindness.
